Erasmus -Voluntary Project

12.Juni - 10.August 27 im arco-Forum Wiesbaden

2-month intensive project with 15 European volunteers.
For 2 months, we will work alternately on Theatre Circus skills and
on supporting children and young people with these skills.
In addition to the performances with children and young people,

we will also develop our own theater circus performance.

The topic will be decided jointly by all those involved and should

relate to Europe at the moment and current world events.
The resources are a mixture of "Physical Theatre", "Modern Circus"

and "Expression in Movement & Art". The work is supplemented with

movement meditation from Feldenkrais, yoga and Impulse Resonance learning.

Overall, the work is like a joint movement laboratory.
In impulse courses, the most important skills of the arco play director card

(youth director card) and theater pedagogy according to Augusto Boal are also taught.

The intensive project includes in detail:
 

- Training and education weeks
- Theatre training in memoriam Augusto Boal and further development of his work
- Introduction to Circustherapy
- Accompanying 3 x 5-day circus and movement projects
- A training trip with Street Theatre Performances
- Two x 5-day accompaniment of Theatre Circus projects in Wiesbaden
- A final performance
- Accompanying an international youth project (Expression in Movement & Art)
Accommodation and work will probably be in the arcoForum and possibly at an appartement near Mainz and at the usual arco locations.
